About Hiei
Based on a theme of relationship between technology and sound, he creates his works in different approaches. Since 1990s, he created music by DAW and released songs from King Street Sounds, NYC. Further, he contributed research and development of electric music instrument in instrument company YAMAHA. He created media works using programming; for example, “Hikari Record” that generates sound with crystal, and “In the frame” that generates sound with flickering light of candle frame. He showed his works in ZKM, Germany, SCOPE Art Show, Miami, and Star Gallery, Beijing.
